I like the Air Fry 7-in-1 Toaster Oven. It does a great job when I am air frying. The rest of the settings do pretty well. The one thing I have to complain about it the lackluster operating manual that came with it. It didn't have any information in it other than what to do when air frying. I have had to just learn by trial and error. I think they need to update the manual. Otherwise though, it does what I would expect it to do.

Love the airfry but wish I'd kept my toaster

My family and I love the air fry function of this smart product--potato chips instead of popcorn is a favorite treat. But it take forever to get a good toast on bread, and we usually have to toast twice at 6 or 7. Not sure if there is something wrong with my particular oven, but having to wait 10-12 minutes for toast every morning is frustrating.

Limited Temperature Capability

Selected the 7-in-1 mechanical model based on preferring a basic, non-digital control product with the expectation they'll last longer. Heated oven to condition heating elements as recommended (1hr @350F). Using calibrated temperature gauge, Bake mode does not go above 325F. Roast and Air Fry mode does track better but can still be off by 30-40F. Initial cook of leftovers and carrots in 5x7 pyrex at 350F/Bake mode left carrots (half moon, 3/8 thick slices) still hard after 1 full hour. This is not a 450F device. Recommend always using gauge when cooking and only use the fan based modes especially if using both the baking and wire racks at the same time. Also, basket received bent, had to bend back into shape. Baking rack wire gauge fairly thin. Overall, seems oven only hits approximate temperature using modes that engage the fan. Would not buy again. This purchase replaced a competitor's older countertop model which lasted over 15yr.

I'm new at this air fryer thing. I live in Florida it's really hot when you cook in the kitchen. This air fryer has really helped it keeps the heat down it's a tiny little oven it's wonderful. They should install these in all RVs because it's much easier to use than a full oven. A little bit messier than oven, but worth the cleanup just because it's easy and even a 10-year-old could use this.

I really like this toaster oven, even though it does everything except toast, even after carefully following instructions. The included air fryer function is a great money saver. Temperatures tend to run higher than with a larger oven, so some experimentation is needed, since there's no recipe book, which would have helped a lot. The only recipes included are for air frying.

I was initially hesitant about buying an air fryer oven with mechanical controls. I previously had an LCD display with a variety of buttons. However, after a few days of using it, I barely even notice. I actually like the simplicity of it, and it'll be less prone to failure. This oven cooks just as good if not better than my actual oven. As someone with all GE appliances in my kitchen, I can say that it lives up to my expectations of the brand. It blows my previous air fryer away, even without all the bells and whistles. As a caution, do note that the sides and glass do get hot when it cooks, but if you use common sense safety practices, you'll be fine.

A step up from the rest

Feels well built. It's the perfect size for cooking just about anything except a turkey. Cooks things really really fast and heats extremely evenly. The air fryer setting is really no different than the standard convection setting. There is only a timer; no constant on setting. It gets untouchably hot on all sides except the front panel (excluding the glass). The crumb/drip tray is easy to remove and clean. The timer knob doesn't turn easily and is even harder to turn backwards to turn it off. Also, it holds the heat inside for quite a while after it shuts off.

I absolutely love my GE mechanical air fry 7 in 1 toaster oven! Personally I prefer the mechanical dials so I feel I'm in control of the cooking! It does it all with tremendous results. It's the only way we cook chicken that look and taste restaurant quality with a nice crispiness on the outside and super juicy on the inside! And when you are fry some veggies it'll change your life! Being a couple who loves to cook, I was excited to get this 7 in 1 unit for hubby and me! We are always ready to try new things, but airfrying was such a hassle to clean up after in our old basket type. Not this workhorse!! It simply wipes clean with a damp cloth inside, and soapy water wash on tray. I was really curious about basic toasting in this, so that's the first item I tried in it. It came out perfect! A small frozen pizza comes out crisp and zummy!!! I love that there's so many options, and it speeds up dinners considerably! I can make salmon and asparagus in about 5 minutes using convection baking!!! I can't say enough good things about it.

My toaster Oven was old, and my air fryer recently died. Getting a beast of an appliance that could do both, and then some was ideal for me. This is a little bigger, but still takes up way less space than multiple appliances would. Setup was easy, instructions are easier, and it does exactly what it's supposed to! This is a solid piece of machinery. The construction is excellent, the way everything slides together, closes, or turns is really well done. Nice multifunctional oven ! Nothing like you able to get multifunctional appliance to fulfill your cooking needs and not adding to your counter space. Thats what this oven helps in addition to making cooking so much simpler. I loved the multifunctional oven, tried air frying french fries and they came out delicious. Also I air fired a batch of tofu for my salad through out the week and they stayed good for up-to a week. I tried baking a small almond cake which came out perfect. I also toast my morning bread in it. They were as good as doing it in their dedicated appliances. The look is modern, it functions great. Looks awesome on my countertop. I highly recommend this product.

Loving my GE Mechanical Air Fryer 7-in-1

The GE Air Fryer with multiple functions is a necessity for any household. This can literally replace your large oven in the house. It heats up almost instantly and cooks food in less than half the time of a conventional oven. I have tried out several of the functions and they all have impressed me. I use the Air Fry function to get my foods super crispy. I use the convection setting kinda as a microwave replacement as it gets foods done quickly. The toast functions like a charm and quickly I might add. I've also used the bake function that is standard just like an oven and it gets the food done and done quicker. I made 2 Cornish Game Hens in it with the Air Fryer Function. I love Rotisserie Style Chicken and my Cornish Game Hens Came out just like and better might I add than a Rotisserie Chicken! There is only 1 feature that I wished this Air Fryer had and that is an interior light. Where I have it on my countertop light doesn't get to the food all that well. But other than that I couldn't be happier with this GE Air Fryer!

All easily set with knobs that you can turn and adjust without having to start over like many digital ovens. Ingenious Product!

Wow! That's my reaction to GE's Mechanical Air Fry 7-in-1 Toaster Oven. I had been wanting an air fryer and with limited counter top space this seemed like the best option for my family because it takes the place of several space taking products and combined them into this small, compact hero of a machine! The air fryer is what's used most in our home and I will admit I don't miss the smell of hot grease for my food to bathe in. That was my first thought with this product because all that was in the air was the food cooking. So much healthier and I'm not sure how we survived this long without ours. The best part is the company behind this product. It's one my family has used for many years and have alot of trust in. We have several GE products and they knocked this one outta the park per usual. The best thing we've made was hush puppies. Very easy to make. They came frozen so we just pre heated the air fryer mode and once we put them in to cook we put the timer on approximately 12 minutes and they came out golden brown and absolutely restaurant quality hush puppies. I see my family enjoying alot of meals made with this dandy machine. Included is the basket and the catch tray underneath. So it comes ready to cook pretty much. Just wipe down the basket and tray first, plug it in and set the knobs and just like that you're off to tastier, healthier food. Win, win if you have health problems and need a special diet because this baby will be your best friend and will prove it by your numbers being within normal range. Example being cholesterol, diabetes, heart patient etc.

Perfect Size GE Toaster Oven

I have tried other counter top ovens and they are usually too big for most kitchens. This 17 x 17 x 14 fits great on your counter too. Simple to use with nice glass door and knobs to operate. This is a multi functional product that has an air fryer, convection oven, roaster, toaster and baker. The air fryer setting cooks food with less oil and leaves food with a perfect crisp. The oven is equipped with a baking rack, air fryer basket and baking pan. A removable crumb tray makes cleaning a breeze. The instructional manual has great tips on cooking times for many items. This is the easiest and most efficient oven I have used.

the GE Mechanical Air Fryer is super simple to use . 3 Knobs Mode, Temperature and timer. the Air fryer mode makes perfect tater tots , nice and crispy with no added oil. the Bake mode is perfect for a small batch of cookies. rather than heating up the big oven for small dishes or as an additional oven , this works great. the only down side is if you go too far on the timer there is no way to turn it back so get it right the first time

Great All-in-One Oven!!

This may be the only countertop appliance you will ever need. It has already replaced my convection oven, toaster, dehydrator, and air fryer! This compact appliance does it all! I love the counter space I have gained since its arrival. This multi function oven is both sturdy and easy to use. So far I have baked, dehydrated, toasted, reheated, air fried and more, and everything has turned out great. Even my kids are capable of operating it without help. There is a removable drip tray that pulls out for easy clean up and the classic stainless steel exterior wipes clean in seconds. The one thing I would change is the air fryer basket. It is fine, and does a good job, but I think if it had air fryer trays or racks instead, you could air fry a whole lot more at a time. I feel you could also use those racks to dehydrate more food items at a time as well. But overall, this is a great all-in-one product!

I have been wanting an air fryer for eons. I finally got a GE Mechanical Air Fry 7-in-1 Toaster Oven and I am over the moon! I grabbed chicken wings and french fries the day I knew it was arriving and started frying straight out of the box. Now at first I thought this would be a 4 star review because I wanted a light inside, and the knobs got very warm with a bit of condensation at the catch tray in bottom. So we all stood around with our phone lights on watching it fry, which was silly fun, and served the purpose fine. Then when we sat down to eat it became a unanimous 5 star review! Everything was so crispy and the amount of grease we didn't eat, ended up in grease tray, was also surprising. This baby is also a convection oven, a toaster, and a toaster oven! Clean up was amazingly simple. Bottom line, if you are looking to get an air fryer, this is the one! Well done GE, well done!

Very nifty machine.

This machine does it all! The nitty gritty for me is as follows. Air fryer basket: Perfect for things like wings, fries, onion rings etc Baking Pan: Use this with the convection setting for all types of protein and veggies Rack : I personally use this with the keep warm function for things like chicken breast The best thing about this machine is my kids are now obsessed with veggies! They love to experiment with different types of breading and mix and match. Their favorite is air-fried green tomatoes and zucchini. It is simple to set up ( literally take it out of the box, wash the add-ons, run empty for 30 minutes to get rid of the new car smell) and you are good to go. I wish it came with a recipe book but that problem is simply solved with a few internet searches. For those of you who might feel intimidated by a machine like this I encourage you to not be. Things couldn't be more simple once you get the hang of it!
