Great product But it leaks

This is a wonderful washer with all the features I wanted to get. The energy efficiency is particularly to be noted. Unfortunately the unit leaks and after two service repair visits no one can figure out where the leak in the unit is coming from. Very disappointing

No drum light even though the promotional pictures look like it so be prepared to leave dark small items behind. No printed full length owners manual - maybe I am the only one who reads it but I like to keep it handy near the laundry. Now I have to use my own ink and paper.

LG has no replacement part on hand

The machines sensor failed on me 11 months into my warranty. I lodged a complaint and was told the replacement part will arrive in one month. Thats one month of handwashing my laundry. Today LG always the bearer of good news informed me that the part will only arrive end of November 2 months from the date of loss. RIDICULOUS

An AWESOME Washer/Dryer Combo If Short on Space

This washer and dryer combo was a lifesaver for us. We recently moved into a house where we needed the stacked washer and dryer to fit in am opening only 71 tall. There arent many options if you encounter this kind of restriction and we were so thankful that LG had a solution. Overall this machine leaves our clothes smelling fresh and perfectly dry. Its a quiet unit and looks great.
Honestly some of the reviews Ive read about these machines are just downright hilarious: The washer is small and doesnt hold as much as a commercial washer or The wash cycle takes forever or There are too many features on this machine and its confusing etc. Okay so all statements are true but LG didnt try to hide any of these facts. Its advertised as a Compact Smart washer and dryer. Its meant for being installed where space is lacking. It holds up to 2.4 cubic feet of clothing which is significantly less if youre used to using a commercial washer or a home machine that has the more standard 4.5 cubic foot capacity or larger. Its a Smart Washer and dryer. It calculates the correct amount of time your clothes need to be washed or dried based on the weight of the load its washing or drying. You can download and customize your own washing and drying settings. The hefty manuals included will tell you how to do so but for those of us that dont have the patience or know-how the presets and touch screen panel are very intuitive and easy to operate.
Some tips: Get some pros to install this. If you purchase both machines it will include the mounting brackets. Further theyll level the units correctly ensuring proper drainage. You want faster wash and dry cycles? Wash and dry smaller laundry loads. Do not overload the machines - they will not wash or dry optimally and you could end up breaking the machine.
We are a family of three 3 the youngest being 7 and generally have a half a dozen loads of laundry each week that includes our clothes sheets and towels. Having the unit linked to our phones to let us know when wash or drying is complete has been super helpful. This is a great unit if you understand the parameters of what it offers.

The compact washer was purchased along with the matching dryer. Seems like clothes get cleaner and certainly more water spins out vs. my old top loader. The clothes dont get tangled together either. I am a bit concerned about the amount of water that stays in the seal around the inside of the washer door. I try to wipe it out after each wash but will always find another small puddle after finishing. Ive been keeping the door slightly open to limit mold growth and will keep an eye on it. Otherwise I love the way it works and looks

I RV full time. Space is tight and RV appliances are outrageously expensive..we found this compact washer it fits on the exact spot our old rv one was. it holds twice as much cleans so much better even on quick wash and sends me a notification when its done.. I am still trying out all the features...but so far it is perfect.
