Great Oven, not for grandma to use

This is a great oven, full of technology and gadgets. My mother in law is scared of it and refuses to touch it. So far she just uses the basic microwave function. This oven has many options available and if all you do is light cooking or light usage, it may not be the one for you but if you want all to experience what a chef can do, this is it.

The oven preheats very fast and the Flex Duo is an excellent feature that we use routinely. I wish that you could control the oven remotely without needing to turn the knob to a new setting. Finally, the steam bake draining started leaking at 11 months and Samsung repaired the part under warranty.

oven stopped cooking and warming up correctly after about 3 weeks of use. warranty repair has been a nightmare and they are unable to fix it and the repair company they sent out damaged the unit further. no being told by both the repair company and samsung that neither of them are responsible. horrible product and horrible service from samsung.

after reading reviews i decided to buy this appliance to replace my kitchenaid of the same configuration. it was installed 1-18-21. i only giving it 2 stars although loved the combo until it faulted, c-a2 four days ago. after calling the help line, which was very helpful, they scheduled a representative to come troubleshoot our problem. he was very professional and competent. he asked what we were doing with it faulted and told him it was self-cleaning. representative wanted to know if the door/ window was opened in the house for air flow. i have read my manual cover to cover and there is no mention of the need for a draft. 5 stars just went to 2.

Glass Turntable Broke Twice

for the second time in two years, the factory installed turntable in the microwave/convection combination wall oven broke when operating in convection mode. the text etched into the factory installed glass turntable reads "for microwave oven only"....why would samsung install a turntable intended for microwave use only in a unit that includes both microwave and convection oven capabilities? am i really expected to remove the glass turntable every time i want to use the convection oven feature? very poor design choice by samsung. combine this with the regular system reboots for no reason, and this unit is not as great as i would have hoped. would be great if samsung could replace my turntable with something that will not break when using in convection mode.

Best oven ever!

This was a major purchase for our kitchen remodel. It was key to the design because we did not want to take up cabinet space with a built-in microwave oven. So this appliance was key to the design. Yes it was more expensive than other double ovens, but not really more expensive than other high-end double ovens. Plus the fact it replaced a microwave oven, it made value sense too. Now that we have lived with the oven for 6 months, it is has exeeded expectations. It is stunning in looks, the controls feels like a german automobile (of the 80s), and operation is flawless. It takes a bit getting used to with the controls, and the notifications are a bit over the top (but you get used to it). Only complaint would be oven lights could be a bit brighter. Try the auto sensing cook programs. We are finding these to work much better than we expected.

Display Timeout

the oven looks awesome. can't comment on how it cooks yet. but the reason for 1 star is the display timeout. who has ever had a microwave or wall oven that the clock times out? it's ridiculous. even on the manual it says that there is an option to go from 5 minutes to 60 minutes and the "always on" option. well mine does not have the "always on" option. after some research i found that the problem is the software version. i have version tizen 2.3.0 (combioven.ppocf.us.20181221.0223) the version i apparently need is  tizen 2.3.0 (combioven.ppocf.us.20200221.0257) well when i go to settings and to where i can update the software, the update button is disabled. i've contacted samsung and they have no clue what i'm even talking about...

this has been the worse purchase ever!! i remodeled my whole house and purchased about 8 months ago. for about a month its been making a noise and every once in a while shuts off and doesnt turn on for a while. now its not heating and shuts off everyday several times and doesnt turn on for like 2 hours. i had to buy a counter microwave and use that because this no longer works. contacted best buy and they told me i had to contact samsung warrenty. i scheduled an appointment which was supposed to be 2 weeks ago and no one has come out nor contacted me with the issue. crazy that you spend so much money on an appliance and are stuck heating up food in a target counter microwave!!!

i'm very frustrated with my samsung kitchen appliances. i renovated the kitchen, all the appliances are samsung. the big problem is with the wall oven range. the steam function does not work. i requested help to samsung six months ago in 2020; today is january 27th 2021 still waiting. samsung told me that a third party company will contact me to send a technician. never happened. i called several times. samsung do not care if the oven is still broken or fixed. they do not follow up the problem, i called again and again and again and explained many times my case from the beginning. cook top: internet never works to operate from the phone.

Plate Ruptured and Display Screen Distorted

i wish i had paid more attention to reviews when i bought this. i have always trusted samsung to provide good products, so took the $4000 chance and lost on this one. the glass microwave plate ruptured during reheating a meal in mircrowave mode. dangerous!! the display screen has lines/streaks going through it. this makes it difficult to see the screen options. very disappointed samsung!

i've never owned an oven that failed. this one had a fan motor that failed that shut down both the microwave and lower oven, knocking out our major way to cook and heat food. the unit was purchased in mid 2018, but had to sit at the store's warehouse for months while i waited for my home to be finished. by the time i took possesion of my residence, the warranty on the unit had already expired, and it hadnt even been installed yet. but we're less than 2 years of use, and it now does not work at all. very angry, especially given the price i paid for it. i expected something of far higher quality.

A Modern Oven with Great Features

I bought this oven a couple of months ago and I have been trying out new features, such as steam cooking, dehydration, etc, and they are smart and useful! I love the safety features where you can control your oven using WIFI, get notifications when cooking is almost done, and have the oven auto off when the preset timed cooking is completed.

Purple finish peeled off when sugar baked on floor

Unbelievably, the purple finish peeled off the oven floor when sugar spilled over from my baking pie. Samsung wants me to BUY their GREY paint to touch up the PURPLE oven. This may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. In all my life of baking, and many inadvertent spills, I have never had the surface of my oven peel off. It should not happen with the cheapest of ovens, and certainly not with this $3000 investment. This isn't a problem that disappears by ignoring it. I plan on additional baking, obviously, and more inadvertent spills. It will repeat over and over again. Samsung has a very limited one year warranty. Totally lame!!! It's hard to say what is worse: the inferior product, or the absent customer service.

We have had the Flex Duo wall oven for a year now. I can believe the features and how easy it is to use. I have never had a high end wall oven before, but you can definitely tell the difference in cooking everything. One of my favorite features is the Sensor cook. Just pop whatever you're cooking in, select the type of item and go. Literally that easy - no guessing about times and everything I have cooked is perfect.

I absolutely love this built in microwave oven combo. The ability to cook three different things and three different temperatures on three different settings at the same time is mind blowing! It cuts your cooking time in less than half. We LOVE to entertain and with this oven cooking for 20 is a breeze. I would recommend this oven to anyone who entertains alot, or simply loves cooking. I have never been more excited. The top section can be used as a microwave, or and oven simply by changing the tray. And the bottom portion can be used as one large oven or two smaller ovens by placing the smart separator all sections have all of the functions. This really is the best oven I have ever seen. The built in wifi is so wonderful.

Amazing Appliance

It has been just over 2 weeks since I received my new Samsung Combo Wall Oven. I was immediately impressed at how beautiful and sleek it is and the absolute transformation it made in my kitchen. Then after using it, I am truly amazed. It has so many functions, it is going to take me a while to use them all. I have never been able to cook fish properly in an oven, always too dry, overcooked, or undercooked, so could not wait to try fish. It came out perfect, moist, slightly flaky and perfect. Muffins were baked so evenly, And high temp baking made for even, crispy crust, just as I wanted. I love the pretty blue interior and it is huge. I have the 30" , but seems larger than that. I love the fact that I can split the oven into two ovens because I often have family gatherings of 20-30 people and need the extra oven space. Because it can split the space Samsung provides two blower fans, one for each space and that assures even heat when it is just one oven, being so large. The gliding rack is a dream and like the many other rack settings. My old oven had elements on the top and bottom that made cleaning a nightmare. This oven has no exposed elements except the broiler, so cleaning will be so easy. Speaking of easy, operating this oven is a snap. All digital and big, clear prompts, makes this so easy to use. Love, love, love the simple use of the controls and the help with the Healthy Cooking Mode. My old set up was two separate appliances, a microwave on top and the oven below it. This combo unit is so much nicer and much more attractive. The microwave is so much more advanced than my old one, I am still learning all it can do. So many functions that it is really another oven. I considered getting two ovens at first because of the crowds I entertain, but this microwave can function as a microwave and an oven and other ways I have yet to discover. So I have three ovens if I need them, but if I don't I have a microwave and an oven. I just love this versatility. And this microwave is also huge, so able to cook many more dishes than I am used to. I can't wait to use the convection function. I have a little learning curve going from heating up things and defrosting to many more uses for a microwave that this one offers over my last one. Baking, broiling, things I never considered with a microwave. This Samsung Combo wall microwave and oven is absolutely amazing in every way. This upgrade has made my kitchen beautiful and highly efficient.

The microwave doesnt work property. It takes forever to heat up a small cup of water. The oven is the same. Temp is all over the place. Ran a computer diagnostic and it came back with all kinds of codes. Was able to finally get thru to someone on a chat to see what they can do. Chat persone told me to cycle the power. Really! Ok. Cycled power with no change. Then the customer service person chatting with me simply stopped responding to my requests. Not what I expected from a company like Samsung.

Stylish looks and full of features / functions

Purchased unit 8 months ago. Love the product, solidly built with technology for the 21st century. The Microwave has simple 30 second warming feature and warms food up quickly. The oven works great, accurate temperature and plenty of space. Very satisfied with the purchase, would purchase again.

It's been good for 1 year, no problems. Software designed not so well, like a clock and confirmations. I like doors there too.

REALLY want to like this oven

First let me say that this oven cooks very well. I have zero complaints about how it operates. Unfortunately I am about to be on my 3rd service call in just a few months since my purchase. The display reboots periodically on its own. I have had a tech out to replace the display and the motherboard and it continues to reboot. I called Lowes service once again for another check on it. but I cant imagine what else you could replace to stop this from rebooting. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know.
